The Mission

When birth is honored, mothers, babies, and societies thrive.

Birth Belongs To Women began in 2022 through a meeting that felt both natural and inevitable—when Kallie attended Jessica’s homebirth after cesarean as her doula. What followed was more than a shared experience. It was a recognition of something deeply felt and rarely named.

Birth belongs to women.

This movement exists to stand with women in a culture that too often replaces trust with control. We believe birth is not something to be managed, coerced, or feared. Birth is a physiological, emotional, and social event that deserves respect, autonomy, and care rooted in relationship.

Birth Belongs To Women advocates for women-led birth, midwifery care, and informed choice—supporting families who seek care that honors the body’s wisdom rather than overriding it. We call for collaboration over coercion, presence over protocol, and care that centers the lived experience of women.

Through our work, our clothing, and our global community, we make visible a truth that has always existed: when women are trusted in birth, families are strengthened and culture shifts.

Birth Belongs To Women is not a trend or a reaction.
It is a statement of alignment.
A movement that continues to stand—steadily and unapologetically—with women.

Started from birth now we're here.
